3 cups flour
1 1/3 cups shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. vinegar
5 tbsp. water
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Add flour and salt to the shortening, blend together. Beat together egg, vinegar and water.
Add to flour mixture. Knead the dough about 5 times. Makes 2 double pie crusts.

If baked pie shell is needed, prick bottom and sides well with fork. Bake in 450 degree oven 10-12 minutes or until pastry is golden.
