1 C. brown sugar
1/2 C butter
1/4 C.whipping cream
3/4 C. coarsely chopped pecans
1 pkg. devils food cake mix
FROSTING
1 3/4 C. whipping cream
1/4 C. powered sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine in 9x13 pan 1 C. brown sugar, 1/2 C butter, 1/4 C whipping cream, 3/4 C nuts, stir over low heat until butter is melted.

Prepare devils food cake mix according to directions. Carefully pour over pecan mix. Bake at 325º 35 - 45 min. cool in pan 10 min. Then invert onto rack to cool.
FROSTING
Beat 1 3/4 C whipping cream, 1/4 C. powered sugar & 1/4 tsp vanilla. Frost cake. Actually, cool whip works too!
