2/3 cup shortening
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup sour milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING

1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 cup nuts, chopped

Directions:

Mix shortening and dry ingredients until crumbly. Stir in eggs, sour milk and vanilla. Pour into a greased 9 inch cake or pie pan. For topping; mix together all ingredients and sprinkle over batter. Bake 350º for 30 minutes.
