2 Tbsp. water
1/4 cup sugar
1-1/2 cups corn syrup

Mix all ingredients together and boil for 2 minutes.

If you happen to run out of store-bought syrup and you have light corn syrup on hand, you can make your own! (I'm not sure why you wouldn't just use the light corn syrup?)
