Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 6 lb beef brisket trimmed (1/4 inch of fat)
Garlic to taste
Pepper to taste
1 bottle (10 oz) Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons liquid smoke
1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:

Season the brisket with garlic and pepper and place in a large baking pan. Mix 10 oz. Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke in a bowl and pour over brisket, turning to coat Marinate covered in foil for 10 hours turning occasionally.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Bake the brisket uncovered for 30 minutes. Reduce the heat to 225 degrees and bake covered for 6 hours (Jen I do this step all at 275 degrees for 6 hours. The 450 step is good but it makes a mess).Bring pans to room temp and drain fat reserving pan juices. Chill and wrap in for 8 hours.

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Pull the brisket apart with 2 forks and arrange in a baking pan. Mix 2 cups of the reserve juices, ketchup, 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar and the lemon juice in a bowl and pour over the brisket. Bake covered for 45 minutes (note I use pre made bar b que sauce with the juices).
