2 strips bacon chopped
1/2 onion chopped
1/2 c celery chopped
1/8c fresh parsley snipped
1 large can creamed corn
1 large can whole corn
1 c heavy cream
1 qt. milk
salt and pepper to taste
3 drops tobasco sauce
4 c chicken stock
2 c potatoes cooked and diced
roux of 1/4 c each flour and butter

Directions:
Directions:
Saute first 3 ingredients slowly, then add remaining ingredients except potatoes and roux. Simmer 45 minutes. Add potatoes and thicken with roux.

This recipe comes from the Green Mountain Inn at Stowe VT. Joe ordered a cup of it when Lwanda saw it he said, " I covet that." He tried it and loved it. he tried to order it every day the rest of the trip by saying, " Do you have my corn chowder?"
