1 # bulk sausage
1 C. Shredded cheese
1 batch Sky High biscuits

Directions:
Directions:
Fry sausage in a skillet until cooked & crumbled.
Mix 1 batch of sky high biscuits. Press into a rectangle about 1/2 “ thick, sprinkle meat evenly over dough. Cover with 1 C. shredded sharp cheddar cheese or mozzarella cheese. Roll up like a jelly roll, pinch seam, slice into 1 1/2” rolls, place on cookie sheet, bake until lightly browned, about 20 min. @ 400°
Make gravy with drippings, (see sausage & gravy recipe)
Pour hot gravy over pinwheels, serve
These also freeze well, remove from freezer, warm in microwave.

One elk hunter liked these so much, he almost foundered on them.... he didn't realize until he was out in the woods that his compass was covered in gravy....he tried to blame the cooks when he became lost (temporarily, of course!) But we knew better!
