Directions:
Place in a medium-size bowl. Whip the eggs with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Gradually add 1/2 c. sugar to egg whites while constantly whipping. Combine in a cup the water and vanilla. Add to mix, a few drops at a time, alternating with the remaining 1/2 c. sugar while constantly whipping. Flake cocoa with a fork to break clumps. Sift if necessary. Fold into mix. Place bite-size rounded tsp. of mix onto the wax paper on a cookie sheet. Bake approximately 30 minutes at 250º. They will be dry on the outside, but moist and lava-like on the inside. While kisses are still hot, remove from the wax paper and place on a wire rack so they will not stick. Store in an airtight container.
