1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
3 t liquid smoke
1 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients and simmer until thickened. Refrigerate or pour in hot canning jars and place in a hot water bath for about 10 minutes for a long shelf life. Makes 10 12 oz jars.

Sandy has experimented with making a sauce close to a famous local BBQ shop that has been in business for about 50 years. I think she has done just that, and it is enjoyed by all of our family.
