1 c. margarine
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour cream
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
6 c. flour

Filling:
3 c. raisins - put into blender
fill up to 4 1/2 c. with water
add 3/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
Blend to desired consistency (chop)

Mix sugar cookie dough as follows:
Cream margarine and sugar. Mix eggs, vanilla, sour cream together. Then mix dry ingredients in.

Filling:
Boil raisin mixture - thicken with corn starch. Boil until clear. Do not thicken too much or cookies will be dry. Roll out sugar cookie dough, cut circle and add 1 Tbsp. filling, put another sugar dough circle on top. Pinch around circle to seal. Bake at 350º until golden brown.
