Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
4 onions, diced
1 lb butter
1 c water
2 bottles ketchup
1 bottle A-1 sauce
8 oz applesauce
1-9 oz can crushed pineapple
3 lemons, sliced thin
4-5 bay leaves
1/2 tsp pepper
1 T salt
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp red pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
Dash of Tabasco

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions in butter. Add remaining ingredients and simmer over low heat. Add worchestershire sauce and Tabasco to taste. (May be frozen)

Mix following for swab:
3/4 c water
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic salt
3/4 T pepper
1/2 c vinegar
1/2 c worchestershire sauce
1/2 c ketchup

The BBQ sauce makes a large batch and I remember mom dividing it into freezer cartons for later.
