2 cans whole water chestnuts
1 1/2 lb. bacon slices, cut into thirds
3/4 C. ketchup
1/3 C. white sugar
1/3 C. brown sugar
2 Tbs. vinegar
1 Tbs. soy sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Wrap bacon around chestnuts, using a toothpick to hold together (you can cut the bigger water chestnuts in half.) Place on foil-lined cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until bacon looks done. Transfer bacon wrapped water chestnuts to 9x12-inch cake pan. Mix the remaining ingredients together in saucepan and heat to a boil. Pour the mixture over the water chestnuts. Before serving, broil them on a rack placed on a cookie sheet until crisp.

Great party snack you make ahead and reheat. You can substitute chicken livers for water chestnuts but in my world that is just gross! Serves 8
