2 qt. Vinegar
1 qt. Cooking Oil
4 oz. Black Pepper
1 oz. Chili Powder
1 oz. Red Pepper
1 oz. Garlic Powder
1 lb. Salt (1/2 lb. works if you want less salt)
4 oz. Texas Pete Pepper Sauce
8 oz. Lemon Juice

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a 6 quart sauce pot and heat on stove until hot. Do not boil.

Start basting chicken or beef after the meat is about half done, or both sides are browned.
Baste meat every 30 minutes (or every time the meat is turned) until it is done.

*Makes 1 gallon of sauce.
