1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp pepper
6 beef cubed or tenderized round steak (about 1 1/4 #)
2 Tbsp oil
1 14 1/2 oz can italian stewed tomatoes
1/4 cup water
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp marjoram crushed
1 med green pepper cut in strips

Rice or pasta to go with steak

1. In a shallow dish or piece of wax paper mix flour, onion salt and salt and pepper. Dip steaks in flour coating both sides. In a large skillet brown meat half at a time in hot oil. Drain off fat.
2. Add tomatoes including juice, tomato sauce, water and marjoram to skillet. Bring to a boil reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Add meat and peppers, cover and simmer for 7-10 minutes or until meat and peppers are tender.
