1 1/2 c. crushed gingersnaps
1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
1/3 c. butter, melted
2 8oz. packages cream cheese, softened
3/4 c. white sugar, divided
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 eggs
1 c. canned pumpkin
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg

Preheat oven to 350º. In medium bowl mix together crushed gingersnaps, pecans and butter. press into bottom and sides of pie pan. Bake crust 10 minutes in preheated oven. Set aside to cool. In medium bowl mix cream cheese, 1/2 c. sugar and vanilla just until smooth. Mix in eggs, 1 at a time. Set aside 1c. of mixture. Blend 1/4 c. sugar, pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg into remaining mix. Spread pumpkin mix into crust and drop plain mix on top. Swirl with butter knife. Bake 55 minutes. Run knife around edge of pan. Cover and let chill for 4 hours before serving
