Ingredients:

3/4 c hot water
4 tbsp yeast
1/3 c molasses
1 tbsp salt
1/4 c vegetable oil
5 c whole wheat flour
7 c white flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Combine 3/4 c hot water, yeast, and molasses. Let sit until yeast is bubbly. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients. Add yeast mixture. Knead 10 minutes. Let dough rise until double in size. Punch down, divide dough, and shape into 4 loaves. Cover with clean dishtowel and let dough rise in pan until 1 inch above pans. Bake 30 minutes. Remove from pans immediately and spread top crust with butter. Note - I like to substitute 1 c chipped wheat for 1 c whole wheat flour. Just add as first ingredient so it has time to soften in the hot water.
