1 - 5 lb. Brisket, with fat trimmed,
Salt and Pepper,
Paprika,
Ketchup - one large bottle,
Brown Sugar - 1 cup,
Lipton's Onion Soup Mix - 2 packets,
Onions, medium - 2.

Directions:
Directions:
Pound brisket with fork.
Salt and pepper both sides of brisket. Can sprinkle with paprika if you wish.
Mix together ketchup, brown sugar, and onion soup mix.
Slice onions and place on bottom of oven-going pan, place brisket on top of onions, Cover tightly with foil and put in 350º oven for 3 hours.
Slice while warm, put in refrig so fat will rise to the top. Skim off fat and heat for 1/2 hour before use.
