Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 yellow cake mix (prepare as stated in the box)
1 can evaporated milk
1 can condensed milk
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2/3 c. of sugar for caramel

Directions:
Directions:
Cake - Prepare yellow cake mix with all ingredients needed on the box. Place to the side.

Flan - Mix together evaporated milk, condensed milk, eggs & vanilla extract in a blender or with a hand mixer for 1 minute until nice and frothy. Place to the side.

Caramel - Melt 2/3 cup of sugar with a little bit of water and cook on stovetop until you like the color.

Place the previously cooked caramel sugar in a nonstick pan where you will make the flan cake as it will harden quickly. Pour the cake mixture first on top of the caramel sugar. Pour the flan mixture last. Bake 45-50 mins at 350F or until knife comes out clean. Let cool for a few minutes.

When you flip the flan cake into a serving platter, the flan portion will be on top.

Personal Notes:
If you have extra cake & flan mixture, you can make mini flan cakes in a cupcake pan.
