Personal Notes:
It is interesting typing in someone else's recipes. I'm not sure what "Slap Yo Mama" is, but, I do know that "Tony C's" is the Horton slang for Tony Chachere's seasoning. (I'm not even sure I spelled Chachere's right...hence, Tony C's!) For quite a while almost every Horton recipe had "Tony C's" in it, the hotter, the better.
No holiday was complete without my mom making some "trash" as she always called it! It's as much a tradition as turkey and dressing!
This is an edit from Linda about this recipe: ask Sheryl what "Slap 'Yo Mama" is. She got us started on it. She brings it to us from Louisiana. Now we refer to it as a little "Slap Yo". It is very Cajun. Yes, use it interchangeably with Tony C's.
