5 egg yolks
1c. sugar
1c. butter and whipping cream
1 lemon rind and lemon juice
1 tbsp. baking powder
Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the egg yolks and the sugar until creamy. Sift the dry ingredients and add to the creamed mixture. Add enough flour(approximately 2 cups) to make a soft dough. Roll the dough out and put cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet. Beat the egg whites until soft peaks form then add sugar and red food coloring. Sprinkle on top of the cookies and bake in a 350º oven for approximately 15-20 minutes
