1 qt barely warm buttermilk
2 tbsp dry yeast dissolved in a small amount of water
2 tbsp sugar
2 eggs, beaten
6 tbsp oil
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp soda
3 tbsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Combine buttermilk, yeast, sugar, eggs, and oil. Sift dry ingredients and mix together. Add enough flour to make the dough easy to roll. Mix thoroughly and knead well. Put in large bowl and let rise double in bulk. Refrigerate until used (will keep for weeks) Roll 3/8 inch thick and deep flat fry small pieces. Roll in cinnamon and sugar if desired.
