1 cup sugar
2/3 cup melted butter
2 eggs
2 cups flour (put in last)
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Put dry ingredients in last. Refrigerate for an hour before rolling the dough out with a rolling pin to make cut out cookies. Leave dough thicker when rolling for soft fluffy cookies or roll thinner for crunchy ones. Recipe for Wedding cake frosting works wonderful with these cookies.
