2 or3 racks of baby back ribs
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup hoisin sauce
1 cup lite soy sauce
1 cup grape jelly
4 cloves garlic finely minced
2 TBL. fresh ginger root finely minced
2 TBL. chili paste or substitute fresh hot peppers

Cut ribs in serving size pieces. Pace in Dutch oven and cover with water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until tender.
In small sauce pan combine brown sugar, hoisin, soy sauce, grape jelly, garlic, ginger root and chili paste. Heat until jelly melts and ingredients blend.
Preheat oven to 375º. Place blotted ribs on rack in large baking pan and baste with sauce. Continue basting and turning ribs until desired tenderness is reached....45 minutes or so.
