1 cup corn syrup
3 cups sugar
1 cup water
3 egg whites

Directions:
Cook syrup, sugar and water until it forms a soft ball when tested in cold water. Then gradually pour over stiffly beaten egg whites. Beat until thick; add roasted peanuts or pecans, if desired.
