Ingredients: 1 T. Ghee
1 t. cumin seeds
1 cup finely chopped red onion
1 T. finely chopped ginger root
1 large tomato, finely chopped
1 T. finely chopped fresh cilantro
1 t. salt
1 t. ground red pepper (cayenne)
1 t. Garam Mesa
1 bag (16 oz) frozen green peas
2 cups (1/2-inch cups) sautéed paneer
1/2 - 1 cups water

Directions:0. Sauteed paneer cheesed
1. Heat Ghee oil in 1-quarter saucepan over medium-high heat. Add cumin seed; sizzle 15-30 seconds.
2. Add onion and ginger roots; stir 1-2 minutes or until onion is golden brown.
3. Stir in tomato and cilantro. Cook 1-2 minutes or until tomato is softened. Stir in salt, ground red pepper and Garam Masaala. Cook 1 minute. Add water.
4. Stir in frozen peas, Homemade Cheese (sautéed before). Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover (towards the end if at all) and simmer 10-12 minutes until peas are tender and sauce thicken slightly. |
