1 c. butter, softened
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. plus 3 tbsp flour
1 c. whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Do not preheat oven. Grease and flour a heavy 10" fluted tube pan. In a large bowl, cream butter & sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Alternately beat cake flour & whipping cream into creamed mixture until well-blended. Stir in vanilla. Pour batter into prepared pan. Place pan in cold oven and set temperature at 300º. Bake 1 hr 30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 mins. Invert cake onto a serving plate; cool completely. Store in airtight container.
