4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
1/2 lb. crystallized cherries
1/2 lb. crystallized pineapple
4 c. pecans

Directions:
Directions:
In 3 cups of flour, put 1 tsp. of baking powder, 1/4 tsp. salt, and sift. Put other cup of flour on nuts and fruit. Mix butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well; add vanilla, fruit and nuts. Mix well. Line a tube pan with brown or wax paper. Bake 3 hours at 250 degrees. Leave in pan overnight.
