5 lbs country style ribs

Marinade:
2 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup dry sherry
1/2 cup gin or vodka
red food coloring - optional
2 heavy tablespoons chopped garlic

Basting Sauce:
3 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all marinade ingredients together and marinate the ribs over night, turning occasionally.

Cook on low-medium heat, basting with honey mixture occasionally. Place under broiler when cooked to help brown the outside, if desired.

Marinade can be adjusted with water if it is too sweet or too salty.
