1 1/2 sticks butter, 1 c. brown sugar, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 egg and I yolk, 2 tsp. vanilla, 2 1/8 c. four, 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 1/2 c. chocolate chips.

Melt butter and cool to room temperature. Add sugars and mix well. Add egg and yolk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients then chocolate chips. Use 1/4 c. dough per cookie. Roll into ball, break in half, mush together so broken half of each ball is facing up. Bake 15-18 minutes @ 350º
