Sift together:
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Combine:
1 cup shortening
3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. water

Also needed:
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) (2 cups) Nestles Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Combine shortning, brown sugar, sugar, vanilla and water. Beat until creamy. Add 2 eggs, one at a time. Add flour mixture; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by well rounded half teaspoons on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 min.
