Ingredients:  
6-7 apples, peeled and diced small
2 cups sugar


Mix together:
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. salt
1 cup veg. oil



Sift together:
2 cups flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
Also needed:
1 cup nuts




Topping:

4 TB oleo
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup coconut
few nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Mix with egg mixture. Add apples and nuts. Bake in 9x13" greased pan at 350 º for 50 min.

Topping:
Mix together and spread on hot cake. Put under broiler until it starts to bubble-about 3 min. Watch carefully. It will burn.

*This is the topping I used:
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
boiling water
Mix together. Adjust amounts of powdered sugar and water until desired consistency is reached.
