Oven Roasted Ribs Recipe

6 tbsp brown sugar
6 tbsp paprika
3 tbsp garlic powder
3 tbsp black pepper
1 1/2 tsp salt

Combine all spices

1/2 c dijon mustard

1 c apricot jam
1/4 c vinegar
1 tsp thyme
Mix ingredients in small bowl and save to brush on ribs

4 slabs baby back ribs or 3 slabs pork spare ribs

Preheat oven to 250º.

Lay ribs on a wire rack over a cookie sheet lined with foil. Sprinkle with salt. Brush both sides of each slab with mustard, then sprinkle with dry rub.

Bake ribs 2-3 hours or till fork tender.

Baste ribs with glaze; broil until the glaze bubbles; turn ribs over and baste that side; broil.

Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.
