2 cups sugar
1 small can evaporated milk
1 stick oleo

1/2 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 3 ingredients and bring to a rolling boil. Cook 60 seconds.
Melt 1/2 cup sugar and when liquefied and brown pour over first mixture.
Beat combined mixture constantly until right consistency for icing.
Add 1 or 2 tablespoons milk if too thick.
Add powdered sugar if too thin.

This was given to me by Sue and is one of my favorite recipes.
Note: This is best made when humidity is not too high.
I find that it is good to let the mixture cool before beating.
