½ cup blanched almonds or pecans
2 tbls butter
3 tbls flour
½ cup sugar
2 tbls heavy sugar
½ tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 1 to 2 cookie sheets.
With a sharp knife, chop the nuts as finely as possible. Or use a food processor, blender or nut grinder.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Remove fromt he heat and stir in the remaining ingredients including nuts.
Drop teaspoonfuls 2 ½ inches apart on the prepared sheets. bake until golden, about 5 minutes. Cool on the sheets briefly, just until the cookies are stiff enought to lift off.
With a metal spatula, transfer to a rack to cool completely.
