Ingredients:  
One pound each of the following dry beans:
Lima, Red, Blackeye, Great Northern, Kidney, Garbanzo, Lentil, Black, Pinto, Split Pea, Navy, Barley
Mix beans and measure 2 cups
(Store the remainder for future soup)
1 tablespoon salt
3 quarts water
4 stalks celery
2 bay leaves
2 cups diced ham or smoked sausage
1 16 ounce can tomatoes of your choice
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 medium onions, chopped
6 stalks celery, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Add water, 4 stalks celery, bay leaves and ham to 2 cups beans
Cover and simmer 2 1/2 hours, adding more water, as needed Remove the bay leaves and celery stalks
Add tomatoes, garlic, onions, celery and cook uncovered for 1 hour
