2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
1 1/4 cup white sugar
1 cup butter, softened
3 large eggs
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Combine flour, soda and salt, mix well and set aside. In a large bowl, blend sugars and butter to form a paste. Add eggs, peanut butter and vanilla and mix well. Add flour mixture and mix until combined. DO NOT OVER MIX!!
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet, 1 1/2 inches apart. With a wet fork gently press down into cookies to form a crisscross pattern. Bake 18-22 minutes or until cookies are slightly brown along the edges. Transfer cookies to cool surface immediately.

To add variation, add 2 cups coarsely chopped chocolate bar or 2 cups chocolate chips to flour mixture.
