8 (+/-) c. Granny Smith apples
3 cubes softened butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. oatmeal
Cinnamon/sugar
Vanilla ice cream
Caramel ice cream topping (opt.)

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice apples. Lay apples in 9 X 13 dish and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Mix all remaining ingredients in a big bowl using only your hands to squeeze it (will be crumbly)
Lay mixture over the apples and sprinkle with more cinnamon and sugar
Bake at 350 degrees for about an hour uncovered (watch it at the end so it's browned but not burned)
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and drizzle with warmed-up caramel topping.
