1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tarter
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 T. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Mix thoroughly butter, shortening, sugar and the eggs. Blend in flour, cream of tarter, soda and salt. Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls. Mix 2 T. sugar and the cinnamon in a separate bowl; roll balls of dough into mixture and place on cookie sheet. Flatten slightly with a fork and bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until set.
