1 package German Chocolate Cake mix
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 14-oz package caramels
1/3 cup milk
3/4 cup chocolate chips
1 cup pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Bake half the batter in a prepared 9x13-inch pan at 350º for 20 minutes. Melt caramels, butter/margarine and milk until smooth. Put this on the baked cake; top with chocolate chips and pecans. Dot remaining batter over all this. Reduce oven to 250º; bake for 20 minutes. Then increase temperature to 350º and bake 10-15 minutes more.
