1/3 C Butter
1 C Sugar
1 1/2 C Pitted Dates, chopped
2 Eggs, beaten
1 C chopped Pecans
3 1/2 C Rice Crispies
3 1/2 oz Flaked Coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Set skillet at 200º. Combine butter and sugar in the skillet and cook. Stir until butter melts. Add the dates and mix. Add the eggs and mix well. Cook and stir until it thickens,about 10 minutes. Turn off heat. Add nuts and mix. Add the cereal and mix well. Shape into balls ( 1 tablespoon) and roll in the coconut or leave plain. Hands need to be moistened to shape the cookies easily.
