4 lb. beef chuck roast
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. ketchup
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
1-2 garlic cloves, minced
1/8 t. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In large resealable food storage bag, combine ingredients; mix well. Add roast; turn to coat. Seal bag. Refrigerate 6 hours or overnight, turning once or twice, to marinate. Heat gas grill; remove roast from marinade; reserve and refrigerate marinade. Roast on grill over medium-low heat. Cover grill; cook 50-75 minutes or until of desired doneness, turning and basting with marinade during final 15 minutes. Discard remaining marinade. Prep time 15 minutes. Ready in 7 1/2 hours. Yield: 8 servings.
