6 c. powdered sugar
6 1/2 T. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
Food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Place powdered sugar in bowl. Place water and corn syrup into small sauce pan and heat to 140º on candy thermometer - DO NO BOIL. Add 1/2 of the liquid to the powdered sugar in a mixing bowl. Mix until mixture becomes a thick paste with no lumps. Then add remaining liquid and mix until smooth. Add a few drops of food coloring for desired color.

This can be used in a piping bag or brushed on sugar cookies. Divide icing into several small bowls to make different colors.
