2 1/2 cups flour
2 t. baking soda
1 cup shortening or butter
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped salted peanuts(omit if you use crunchy peanut butter)
1 t. vanilla
1/2 t. salt
2 eggs
1 cup white sugar
1 6 ounce pkg. chocolate chips (or more)

Directions:

Sift together flour, soda and salt. Beat together shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla until fluffy. Blend in peanut butter. Add dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips. Shape into small balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet and flatten with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes or until lightly browned. These are nice and sugary and crunchy if not overbaked.บบ
