4 lb. lean beef brisket
2 T liquid smoke flavoring
1 T onion salt (or powder)
1 T garlic salt (or powder)

1 1/2 T brown sugar
1 c. ketchup
3 T. butter
1/4 c. water
1/2 t. celery salt
1 T liquid smoke flavoring
2 T Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 t. mustard powder
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 2 T liquid smoke with onion and garlic salt. Rub brisket, both sides, with mixture. Roll in foil and refrigerate overnight.

Place brisket in a large roasting pan, cover and bake at 300º for 5 to 6 hours. Remove from oven, cook and slice. Put slices back in pan.

In a medium saucepan, combine remaining ingredients and cook until boiling.

Pour sauce over meat slices, cover and bake for 1 more hour.
