1 lb. dates
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 c. brown sugar
1 ½ c. flour
1 ½ c. oatmeal
¾ c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Bring dates, sugar and water to a boil until soft and then mash them together. Crumble remaining ingredients together and spread half the mixture on bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. Pour the date mixture over and then spread remaining crumbs on the top. Bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes.
