½ c. margarine or butter
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 ¼ c. mashed ripe bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
¾ cups buttermilk or sour milk (sour fresh milk by adding 1 T. white vinegar and mixing)
1 c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar; add eggs, bananas and vanilla mixing well. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into a greased 9" x 13"inch pan and bake at 350º F for 40 to 45 minutes.
