2 tbsp butter
3 cups sugar
1/4 cup white corn syrup
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup light cream
1/2 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup coarsely chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, sugar, corn syrup, salt, cream and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils. Continue cooking to soft ball stage (238º) or until a small amount forms a soft ball when tested in very cold water. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Cool to lukewarm (110º); then beat until fudge begins to thicken and lose its gloss. Fold in chopped nuts. Quickly spread in a buttered 8" square pan. When cold, cut into squares. Makes 1 1/2 pounds of fudge.
