Ingredients: One package of fresh baby spinach One frozen banana One cup of frozen blueberries One cup low fat vanilla soy milk (You can substitute 2 percent milk if you wish) Ten cubes of ice Two heaping TBS of sugar or sugar substitute

Directions: |
Directions:Place all the ingredients in a blender except for the banana and the ice. Start blending and use the banana to push the spinach down to make sure it all gets blended. Then add the banana and the ice cubes in the end. If it is too thick, add a little more vanilla soy milk. This is packed with all the power foods and will really be filling without adding calories. I use it for many of my clients who are vitamin deficient and who wish to improve their health and eating habits. So far EVERYONE has loved it! |

Notes: If you like Smoothie King, you will LOVE this blueberry smoothie It tastes like dessert! Here are some helpful tips: Peel old bananas and put them in a sandwich bag and freeze individually so you have them when you wish to make the shake. Be sure to us the prewashed baby spinach so you can just rinse it before you use it. Do not use frozen spinach. You can use fresh blueberries if you wish and just add a little more ice. If you do not have three people to drink the shake with you, You can freeze the remaining servings in a plastic cup and let the drink thaw partially before drinking it. (humorous side note..some of my clients have said that this drink keeps them "regular"!) Each serving has one and a half servings of fruit, one serving of vegetable, one serving of dairy and is 100 calories.
