2 quarts fresh peaches
1 lb. cornmeal
5 lbs. light brown sugar
1 cake yeast
1 lb. raisins
1 gl. water

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and slice peaches (use stones too). Dissolve yeast in small amount of lukewarm water, add to rest of ingredients in a large stone crock. Mix well. Cover. Keep in a warm place for 9 days, stirring every day. Let set for another 2 days but do not stir. Strain and put in gallon jug. Seal loosely and store for 40 days at room temperature. Then siphon off and bottle. Keep in a cool place.
