3 tbsp olive oil
15 -20 cloves of garlic
1/2 lb ham sliced 1/4" thick
1 1/2 lbs green beans
1 tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Bring a pot of water to a boil, then add the garlic and cook for 8 -10 minutes or untilthe garlic is soft. Remove the garlic from the water and smash with a fork to break up. Save water. In the same water cook the beans for 6 - 8 minutes. While the beans are cooking saute' the ham in a tbsp of butter until browned, remove from pan and set aside. In the same pan add 3 tbsp olive and cook the garlic for about a minute then add the ham back to the pan. Drain the beans and pour the ham and garlic over the beans toss and serve. Add a bit of salt and pepper. this will not be too garlicky since the garlic was boiled frist.
